1.NANBAN - BLOCKBUSTER

Nanban is the first movie became a Blockbuster this year . Being a remake of hindi movie 3 Idiots, this movie was directed by ace director Shankar and acted by leads Vijay, Jeeva with Illeana. Released on Pongal festival and became very commercial success at the box office.

2.VETTAI - HIT

Vettai directed by N.Lingusamy(successfull commercial diretor in industry) Starring Arya, Madhavan, Sameera, Amalapaul given a clean box office hit this year. This movie was released on pongal festival along with Nanban and did well at the box office.

3.ORU KAL ORU KANNADI(OK OK) - BLOCKBUSTER

Oru kal Oru kannadi (ok ok) is the debut movie of Udayanidhi stalin turned out to became  a Blockbuster this year. Director Rajesh who given successful movies like SMS, Boss engra Baskaran continues his Hat-trick hit in ok ok. Santham is the trumph card for the huge success of this movie. Released on Tamil new year and became very commercial success at the box office.

4.VAZHAKKU ENN 18/9 - SUPER HIT

Naan E(EEGA) is a telugu movie made simultaneously in tamil and released on both languages at the same time and became a Blockbuster in Telugu and Super Hit in Tamil. First Sci-fi movie which became a very successful in all areas. This movie beats the collection of Amazing-SpiderMan an hollywood movie released on same date. Directed by S.S.Rajamouli and acted by Sudeep(kannada superstar), Naane with Samantha. Special effects made for E was highly appreciated.

7.SUNDARAPANDIAN - SUPER HIT

Sundarapandian an another Superhit movie this year which was made in low budget and gains more profit to distributors. This movie was directed by New comer S.R.Prabhakaran(assistant of Director M.Sasikumar) and acted by Sasikumar, Lakshmi menon as a lead. This movie was one of the commercial success at the box office and declared it as Super Hit this year.

8.SATTAI - HIT

Sattai is also an another hit movie this year which was made in low budget and gains more profit to distributors. Also this movie gained very high positive reviews and expects to get any National Award this year. Directed by New comer N.Anbazhagan acted by P.Samuthirakani(director) and Thambi Ramaiya as a lead along with new faces. This movie is one of the Best Movie released this year.

9.THUPPAKI - BLOCKBUSTER

Thuppaki an one more Blockbuster Movie for Vijay this year. The much anticipated movie this year directed by A.R.Murugadoss and acted by leads Vijay, Kajal Agarwal, Jeyaram and Sathiyan became a Blockbuster. Released on Diwali festival and became very commercial success at the box office and collected more than 100 crores throughout the world.

10.KUMKI - HIT

Kumki is the much anticipated movie this year and became a clean Hit . This movie was directed by Prabu Solomon(Mynaa Fame) and acted by Vikram prabu(son of actor prabu and grand son of veteran actor SivajiGanesan), Lakshmi menon, Thambi Ramaiya as a lead. Released on Dec 14 and became a commercial success at the box office. Music by D.Imman and Camerawork by Sukumar was highly appreciated and their works makes the movie to became a clean hit this year.

REVIEW : FAILS TO IMPRESS AND DISAPPOINTS FINALLY

The much awaited movie of the year Vijay's Thuppaki is on the losing ground because of its average story & screenplay. This is not at all the best movie for A. R. Murugadoss even 7am arivu is much better than this movie. Very average flick came out from A. R. Murugadoss and this movie should be his first failure.

Big Movies with high expectations released this year are all failure such as Dhanush-3, Karthi-Saguni, Ajith-Billa2, Jeeva-Mugammodi, Vikram-Thandavam, Surya-Maatran and now Vijay-Thuppaki also joints with them.

STORY :

        An Indian army officer(Vijay) who came home for holiday to see and marry a girl(Kajal Agarwal), involves in finding the terrorist who did bomb blast attack in the mumbai city.Whether he find them or not? and What did he do after finding them? and What about is marriage? are the remaning knots involved in the story of this movie.

CAST & PERFORMANCE :

Vijay as Jagadish Dhanapal:

                              

                             Vijay did the role as an army officer also DIA (Defence Intelligence Agencies) specialist in the movie. He did this movie with his asusal own style. Songs, Dance, Fight, Sentiment, Comedy are all mixed as an good commercial film is the first choice for Vijay all the time and this movie came out in such way only. Vijay fans will like him very much in this movie because of his different commercial looks and styles he never did before in his past movies. But for others it Should feel bore because of his usual acting and choosing movies like this. Especially the climax sequence is truly made for Vijay fans. A.R.Murugadoss convinced with his script and given the worst climax ever.

Kajal Agarwal as Nisha:

                               
                            She looks very pretty naturally thats all should know it. But in this movie she looks very bad by her worst costume designs. Its very funny to see her as a boxer in the movie because she is not opt for that role. Acting is so dull in this movie comparing to the role she did in Maatran. Her comedy make bore in the movie because of her over-act. Always Vijay movie heroins are needed for songs and few love scenes, the same thing is repeated in this movie also. So there is no scope for her to act in this movie.

Jayaram as V.Ravichandran:

                               His performance is asusal and good. He is the only hope of movie the to make some humors. His laughable dialogs and acting is good in the movie. Being an experienced man in the film industry he did his job very well.

Vidyut Jamwal as villan:
                 
                              His did excellent in his past tamil movie Billa2 with ajith. His stunts are very good. But in this movie he looks uncomfortable because of weak characterisation and screenplay. Showing him as a brilliant villan from the opening and before the climax is good but what about the end? he is simply killed by Vijay in the climax scene should be very worst and made very cinematic asusal Tamil films.

Others :

                              Other cast are also just ok in the movie. Sathyan(Mumbai SI) and Vijay's Sister character are good. They did their part well but others are not having scpoe of acting.

WRITTEN AND DIRECTION:
               
                               This time A. R. Murugadoss fails to satisfy the audience who had huge expectation about the movie and disappoints them with his weak story and screenplay. His second half is much better than boring first half. Especially in the scene when Vijay tackle the ideas of terrorist by kidnapping 5 girls at the time are very good and show his brilliance there. But such a great director who give blockbusters like Dheena, Ramanna, Ghajini should fail this time and disappoints us very much.

                             

TECHNICIAN AND MUSIC :

                               Santhosh sivan cinematography is good and give pleasant views of Mumbai. But this is not at all the best work from the award winner. A.sreekar prasad's editing work is good but the movie is too slow. Song are not choreographed well. Vijay an excellent dancer should not given his best because of dull making of songs& Music by Harris Jeyaraj is very usual and songs are very average. Only Google Google song is good in this movie. And BG mix also bad it rewinds his past movies music and BG scores.

POSITIVE :

                    1.Vijay asusal performance(But only for die-hard Vijay fans) and better second half.

                    2.Santhosh sivan camerawork.

                    3.Jeyaram's acting .

NEGATIVE :

                    1. Weak story and screenplay, Especially worst climax.

                    2. kajal agarwal acting.

                    3. very slow in first half and no logic in many scenes.

OVERALL :                     

                     Thuppaki is an average movie came out for this diwali. Only die-hard vijay fans should like this movie. Think before you go for this movie, if you decide to watch it, then go with very less expectation, or else you will get disappoint at the end.

REVIEW : Poda Podi - Unexpectedly Very Good & Entertaining

We went for Poda Podi last evening without interest and expectation because we couldn't able to get ticket for Thuppaki, But we surprised that Poda Podi is simply good and entertaining..

Its unbelievable that the movie satisfy the viewers very well who come with very low expectation. Its all because of Simbhu, yes.

STORY :

        Plot is very simple. It is about two persons Arjun(STR) and Nisha(Varalaxmi Sarathkumar) who had different tastes in life would love and marry each other. The Struggle between them to understand each other well for the success of thier life is the remaining story of the movie.

CAST & PERFORMANCE :

Simbhu as Arjun :

                              Am not such a fan of Simbhu but, after watching this movie i really like him very much because of his outstanding performance throughout the movie. After we came out from the theatre am asking me again and again how simbhu did movie like this? yes really very genuine performance by simbhu who always doing some styles in his movies, here did a very decent performance. His genuine performance is much good than the characters he did in his past movies like Kovil and Vinnai Thandi Varuvaaya(VTV).

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Nisha :

                               She is a daughter of veteran actor Srathkumar and this is her debut movie so lot of expectations are there on her performance. Acting is good but she has to improve herself much in her next movies to become a successful heroine in the industry. She looks too fat in many scenes especially in song sequences and little bit fit in many scenes. Dont know how it happens may be because of taking this movie  for three long years should be the reason i think. But she has to reduce her weight to make her pretty. Her Make up is worst and not matching with simbhu who looks good naturally. If she concentrate on this first, than she is capable of doing many commercial movies as well in the industry.

Ganesh as Simbhu's uncle :

                               His performance throughout the movie is outstanding. His very laughable dialogs and acting is perfect in the movie. Each and every scene he make laugh the audience by his dialog delivery. He is very major plus for the movie next to Simbhu. Great performance by him will entertain the movie high.

Others :

                              Other cast are also good in the movie. Especially Shobana(Veteran actress) and dance trainer for Nisha in the movie would did their role very good.

WRITTEN AND DIRECTION:

                              New comer Vignesh shivan did his job well in this movie. His way of narrating simple story with interesting dialogs and performance creates a very entertaining movie and made success at the end.

TECHNICIAN AND MUSIC :

                               Duncan telford cinematography is good and give pleasant views of london. Antony's editing work is good as usual. Song are well choreographed & Music by Thaman should give much support for the movie. Love panlama venama in the opening & I am a Kuthu Dancer song at the final is visual treat for audience and makes more enjoyment in the theatre.

POSITIVE :

                    1.Simbhu's genuine and outstanding performance + usual good dance

                    2.Ganseh with his outstanding performance

                    3.Comedy dialogs

NEGATIVE :

                    1. Varalaxmi sarathkumar make up and look

                    2. Too many songs in the 1st half comes within 15 min gap will affect the flow of movie

                    3. Little bit slow in screenplay.

OVERALL :                     

                     Finally, Poda Podi is a very good entertainer movie for this diwali. Its Worth Watching .

Dengue fever also known as breakbone fever, is an infectious tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash that is similar to measles. In a small proportion of cases the disease develops into the life-threatening dengue hemorrhagic fever, resulting in bleeding, low levels of blood platelets and blood plasma leakage, or into dengue shock syndrome, where dangerously low blood pressure occurs.

Dengue is transmitted by several species of mosquito within the genus Aedes, principally A. aegypti. The virus has four different types; infection with one type usually gives lifelong immunity to that type, but only short-term immunity to the others. Subsequent infection with a different type increases the risk of severe complications. As there is no commercially available vaccine, prevention is sought by reducing the habitat and the number of mosquitoes and limiting exposure to bites.

Treatment of acute dengue is supportive, using either oral or intravenous rehydration for mild or moderate disease, and intravenous fluids and blood transfusion for more severe cases. The incidence of dengue fever has increased dramatically since the 1960s, with around 50–100 million people infected yearly. Early descriptions of the condition date from 1779, and its viral cause and the transmission were elucidated in the early 20th century. Dengue has become a global problem since the Second World War and is endemic in more than 110 countries. Apart from eliminating the mosquitoes, work is ongoing on a vaccine, as well as medication targeted directly at the virus.
