Chiyaan Vikram(actor)

Vikram born as Vikram Kennedy on 17 April 1966. He is an Indian film actor and well known in south Indian films for his excellent acting. He is one of the leading actor in Tamil film industry and he has won many awards for his best acting which includes National Film Award. 


He made his debut in the 1990 film En Kadhal Kanmani, which was followed by a series of small-budget Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films in the 1990s, many of which went unnoticed.
 

His first Successful movie is Bala's tragedy film Sethu (1999). From which he was named as "Chiyaan Vikram" and Started a successful career as an actor. Later on, Vikram appeared in several successful movies like Dhill(2001), Kaasi(2002), Gemini(2002), Samurai(2002), Dhool(2003), Saamy(2003), Pithamagan(2003), Anniyan(2005), Bheema(2008), Deiva Thirumagal(2011) and becoming one of the lead actor in Tamil film industry. His Movies also dubbed in Telugu and Malayalam and repeat the same success over there. He also done a lead role in Hindi Movies like Raavan(2010), David(2012) and got appreciation for his best acting.


In 2003, Vikram's performance as a gravedigger with autism spectrum disorders in Bala's Pithamagan saw him win the National Film Award for Best Actor with his character only speaking a couple of lines of dialogue in the entire film. He recieved that award from former President Dr.A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.


Now he his currently working in movie "I" which is directed by Shankar, Produced by Aascar films V.Ravichandran. After blockbuster hit movie"Anniyan" they teamed up once again and we should expect them to repeat the same success again.
